Rotary Club Applauds the Revolution
"There is a direct correlation between your level of happiness and your general health status," according to Happiness author Blair Lewis. Mr. Lewis, a physician assistant, was the guest speaker at the Honesdale Rotary Club on Tuesday, March 7th.
He is a Bethany resident and the author of The Happiness Revolution: Creating Balance and Harmony in Your Life -- this book, his 5th, was released a few weeks ago. Lewis has practiced medicine for 26 years and now lectures nationwide on the need for lifestyle training to support modern medical care.
"Becoming healthy is not difficult, it is just different. And if different is logical and delicious, you can make changes that will benefit you for a lifetime." Blair spoke of the need for patient participation in their own healing process and offers his most recent books as guidebooks for self-care. His new book explains how to use nutrition, exercise, and relaxation training to assist in the prevention and resolution of sleep disorders, chronic pain, digestive problems and emotional problems. He will also be traveling to Africa to assist in a humanitarian project that the Honesdale Rotary Club has helped fund.
