Why We Fight – a Memorial Day Weekend Special Event
This Sunday we will devote the entire two hours of Old Fashion Yoga to the practices and philosophies of creating a lasting peace. The first 14 registrants will receive a free copy of the book “Why We Fight – yoga practices for lasting peace” by Pandit Rajmani Tigunait.
We will view war through the eyes of Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Sikh guru and his famous student Banda Singh Bahadur and share in their famous dialogue about the mis-use of non-violence. Then we will peer through the eyes of Arjuna and Krishna as they debate war in the Bhagavad Gita.
We will close with yogic and tantric practices for establishing a lasting peace within ourselves and in the hearts of those with whom we live and work.
A great Sunday morning of technique and fellowship.
Tuition: Old Fashion Yoga has a suggested love offering of $20 per person or $30 per household. However, everyone one is welcome regardless of their ability to pay.
Those seeking a delicious cup of chai must RSVP and arrive by 8:50 am. Thank you.
